Collection: Abstract

I am often asked why I paint women without faces. The hint of the face is enough to bring the viewer closer to the inner attitude of the figures and still leaves enough room for your own interpretation, thoughts and imagination. With my series "Girl in a suit" I want to show strong and independent women who radiate courage and self-confidence. Even the title of the series alludes to this. Because for a long time it was only the men-men with prestige and power who wore a suit. With my series, women are encouraged to become self-confident and aware of their inner strength. They literally put on the suit. The mostly strong colors underline this effort and still radiate a certain calm. My women each represent very different strengths and attitudes and will positively impact the viewer and the home.
